How to arrive
Cà Nani Small Boutique Hotel, of the Albergo diffuso del Monte Generoso, is located in the picturesque village of Casima. From the railway stations of Chiasso or Mendrisio, you can reach Casima by car, by bicycle, by public transport and the PostBus service, or on foot.
Our hotel has a recharging point for electric vehicles, which we ask you to indicate when booking.

To reach your holiday destination, we suggest you prefer arriving by train for a sustainable and more relaxing option. From the SBB stations of Chiasso or Mendrisio, you can use the PostBus service.

To reach Casima by car, follow the signs for the Muggio Valley starting from the Chiasso or Mendrisio exits and continue along the cantonal road. You will pass through the villages of the Valley such as Castel San Pietro, Campora and Monte.Our facility has a recharging point for electric vehicles, which we kindly ask you to indicate when booking.The number of public car parks is limited.
- Parking at the Scudellate bridge 2.3 km / 5 min by car
- Parking at the Muggio fountains 4.5 km / 9 min by car
- Parking at the post office in Cabbio 5.6 km / 11 min by car
* If you are staying at the Alpe di Caviano, you will need to check the availability of parking in the village centre of Castel San Pietro or leave your car parked at the Bellavista and continue on foot following the official network of trails to your destination.
The airports of Milan and Zurich are regularly connected by train, which will take you comfortably to the SBB stations of Chiasso or Mendrisio.
From Capolago station, the Monte Generoso railway train departs for Casima, following one of the paths of the official cantonal network. On board the panoramic trains, you can reach the intermediate destination of Bellavista or the summit of Monte Generoso and then continue on foot to your destination.
